TOPICS DISCUSSED AND AGREEMENTS
1.CASE STUDIES: ORGANISATION AND FORMAT
The subgroup meeting was mainly aimed at defining the case studies methodology and format, as agreed in the Montegrotto meeting that took place in November 2005.
As a starting point for the discussion, the Italian partners proposed a draft version of the guidelines which, during the meeting, had been analyzed and "adapted" to the international ground.
It was agreed to develop the case studies in the perspective of describing how, from different points of view, the citizenship issues are dealt with in schools, considering not only the state of the art but also what it is missing in order to fully promote citizenship matters.
It was agreed to provide two case studies for each partner country involved in the project, apart from the Czech partner which will provide one case study.
In the guidelines specific information is given in terms of conceptual framework, selection of schools, data collection and instruments to be used and case studies format.
2. THE COMENIUS 2.2 COURSE
It was agreed to run the first SEEDS course from 16 to 22 April 2007 in Montegrotto Terme (IT). The Italian group will finalize the course application form which will be sent to the Italian Socrates Agency as soon as possible. Rosangela will be in charge of the secretariat of the course and the contact with participants.
3. ORGANISATION OF THE KARMOY MEETING
John proposed a draft agenda of the Karmoy meeting that will be completed by the Italian team.
The meeting concluded to everyone’s satisfaction with thanks to the Italian co-ordinators and to all participants for their valuable contribution.
