SEEDS foresees various typologies of outcomes:

1. Conceptual and research tools:

• Conceptual framework to study the issues concerning school culture

• Research tools to investigate school culture and international mindset and competences

• Research report on the study on school culture and its implications for European dimension and citizenship across different national settings

2. Guidelines for practice:

• Case studies based on good and interesting practice

• Description of teachers' and schools' competences as far as European dimension and citizenship and international mindset are concerned

3. Professional activities:

• Script for an international module - provisional title "SEEDS: improving school cultures towards a European dimension"

• Pilot and implementation of the international module at local level

• Implementation of international Comenius 2.2 modules

4. Professional development tools:

• Course materials:

  • videos on experiences

  • selection on visual materials for role playing and interactive activities

  • background papers

  • monitoring and evaluation instruments

  • website and dissemination materials (see point 6.1)

All the main materials will be developed in English, some of them will also be translated into the languages of partners for local use.

Two international courses will be run approximately in the second and third year of the project. They will target teachers, head teachers, teachers trainers and other educational staff.

Each course will last 5 days and it will be inspired by these ideas (Cogan, 2000): cultivation of a global/cross cultural outlook, emphasis of development of a critical perspective, emphasis on democratic pedagogies and improved community collaboartions.

The main contents foreseen are:

• Understanding school culture

• The international competences and the international teacher: what do we mean?

• How to transform teachers' competences into international/European competences: means and strategies to introduce new elements into the school culture

• Examples of good practice and workshops on experience

• Simulations and assignments for the development of those competences at system level, school level, student level and subject level

• Professional articles critiques

• The school international European relationship policy

Each course will target about 15-20 participants.
